Listing:

This is a RARE Subaru Legacy GT Spec B in excellent mechanical condition (97k miles). This is the "STI" of the Legacy platform; in fact, this is the same 2.5L engine and 5-speed transmission used in the WRX STI, with a different turbo and tune. This is a very limited edition and is 1 of only 500 cars produced in this trim level; it has a number plate on the shifter console with it's production number, (#416 of 500.) It is turbocharged, and has a manual transmission. Since it's a Spec B model, it comes fully loaded with high performance options - dual mass flywheel, factory-tuned upgraded suspension, navigation system, 18" aluminum wheels, custom brick-red leather interior, cast aluminum control arms, sunroof, chrome trim on the door sills, power everything, heated seats, and a unique paint color.

I recently had brand new Bilstein HD struts put on all 4 corners, along with new ball joints and control arm bushings in the front end. The 105k timing belt service is scheduled, and will be completed before the sale, with documentation. The clutch was replaced at around 35,000 miles due to a factory recall. I also had new Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires installed, which are in great shape as well. I've ran Mobil-1 full synthetic in it for as long as I've owned it, and changed the oil and filter at 4-5,000 mile intervals.

The engine, turbo, trans, clutch and exhaust are in great shape. The leather seats are in excellent condition, no rips, wrinkles or fading. There was factory tint applied to all windows except the windshield, but I had it removed from the front windows to be compliant with NJ laws. The car recently passed inspection, so it is good for another 3 years at least.

^^Done!!

New owner of #159 (3rd overall). First guy was a non forum goer, Second was leftybomb. I just picked up with 65k and drove her home roughly 430 miles. Unmolested and drove like she was fresh off the lot! Couldn't be happier.

That said, #444 has been traded in. Owned for under 3 months.....which was 3 too long. Do Not Buy.....PM for details.

#444 has just been purchased. expect a PM from buyer

Spoke to bleggy and relayed all info I could from my ownership experience. I suggested she opt for dealer insurance on the vehicle if she decides to move forward with purchase.

^Thanks Leg. I got completely burnt from the previous seller Legacy+Mustang=Brent (http://legacygt.com/forums/member.php?u=68065). The guy had absolutely no integrity whatsoever, completely misrepresenting a vehicle which put me in a very tough spot and cost me a few thousand dollars between loss on trade in / registration fees / maintenance I put in upon purchase.

I try to be the exact opposite when dealing with people because it is the right thing to do. In the end it should all balance out, which means hopefully I've got some good fortune coming my way ;)

And another one, #493 (http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=5110287&postcount=1388)

http://modesto.craigslist.org/cto/4931273928.html

It's a sad day to post this.. Up for sale is my rare 2006 Subaru Legacy gt spec B! Only 500 made of these. It has 123k miles. All maintaince up to date. Completely STOCK. It's hard to find a spec B especially stock. It holds a Clean title! I am the second owner of it. Always used synthetic oil. Always pumped Chevron. No cheap gas. It's has some dings here and there nothing major. It has all red leather interior. There's only a small little piece of damage on the interior and it's not even that big as you can tell in the picture. Feel free to come check it out. Please no tire kickers or joy rides. If you want to test drive it please have cash in hand or show me that funds are available. Sorry if there's any inconvenience, but there's a lot of kids on here that just want to joy ride. If you are a subaru enthusiast then you know what kind of car this is. It is fully loaded! Navigation, sun roof, 6 cd disc changer, front seat warmers, better upgraded Suspenion compared to the others. I am asking 13k firm. please no low ballers. You will not find another spec B. There are people asking 12k for there gt on here with more miles and half of them are salvage title. Like I said mine Holds a clean title. I believe 13k is a fair price. Only reason for sale is because I am moving to the east coast and will not be able to take it with me. If it was up to me I would keep it, but nobody in my family knows how to drive stick. I'll rather sell it and have someone else enjoy it than let it sit for a year. I am located in Patterson.

I bought it, it's in Clayton now. See post 1372 of this thread. I'm not sure why he hasn't taken down the ad yet.

I've only seen two in person and neither have what your talking about. I'd like to see a pic of yours.

Here's a photo of mine, #271. Anyone know where I can find floor mats with the red piping?

Yeah that's not the oem steering wheel sombody had that done in an attempt to match the inside of the car. You could try a dealership for the mats. But when I worked at the subaru dealership I don't think SNE had any and SOA was on back order.

I got new mats with the red piping from a dealership, and not all that long ago. It's possible. You just need to make some inquiries.

Oh awesome! They must have just had a back order or something. I was lucky one of the techs had a brand new still in the plastic set.

Oh nice! Yeah that's definitely not oem.

To the contrary, this steering wheel is definitely original to this car, precisely the same leather & dye as the seats. It is well worn & discolored from years of busy, sweaty hands. Striking once I got it cleaned (in the photo).

I'm sorry to say but it is not OEM. That was someone adding a very gaudy red leather addition to the steering wheel. That is not on any spec.B in '06 out there and was not shown in any PR materials or seen at any dealer when the '06 came out.

I was talking about the red leather on the wheel not being oem. The steering wheel itself is stock. That red leather on the wheel didn't come with spec b's but must have been added later. Any good upholster shop could add that and try to color match. I guess maybe it's the angle but that looks a few shades brighter than the oem brick leather.
