Zee199969
they should, but 17x7 is gonna look pretty small in our cavernous wheel wells. My "Build"
Alpinestars96
You think they would look awkward? I thought they would look pretty decent.
Humble Rumble
Which type of GT wheels are you referring to? I'm not super up on 4th gen stuff, but iirc, there were a few different ones. 2012 Legacy 3.6R Build Thread 5th Gen Legacy BM/BR Body Kit Compendium Thread
dgoodhue
The OP probably has the factory 16" wheels which are horribly inset even compare to the other factory wheels for the 5th generation. So it could be an improvement. What is the offset on the 17x7 wheels?

Ellesedil
Keep in mind that the 5th gen LGT came with 18" wheels, and many people who have gone with an aftermarket set get either 18" or 19" wheels. There's one or two people who have even crammed 20" wheels in there. There's a lot of room in the wheel wells. But it's your car, not ours. If you dig the design and don't mind the smaller appearance, go for it. Everyone's preference is subjective.

Interested to see what the 4th gen wheels look like on a later gen.
Humble Rumble
I've always thought the thick 10-spoke GT spec B wheels would make a nice replacement for the 10 spoke wheels that come on the 3.6R. Very similar designs, but 18x7 vs 17x7.5. So you'd get a scaled up look with a little less width. If a set ever come up at an opportune time at a good price, I may consider getting some for a winter set myself. http://i.imgur.com/31efgI8.png http://i.imgur.com/78YMDlj.png 2012 Legacy 3.6R Build Thread 5th Gen Legacy BM/BR Body Kit Compendium Thread

Humble Rumble
Nope, the 10-spoke 3.6R wheels are 17x7.5 +48. 2012 Legacy 3.6R Build Thread 5th Gen Legacy BM/BR Body Kit Compendium Thread
dgoodhue
Nope, the 10-spoke 3.6R wheels are 17x7.5 +48. I learned something new. It is interesting that Subaru used a 18" wheel that was more inset for the 2.5GT than the 2.5i/3.6R 17" wheel.
