Sounds good, but that doesn't seem like that much power. I thought the AVO380 could do better than that?

Me too. The poweband feels excellent and smooth with all lag being removed. But, I wish I had gone with a little larger a/r for more flow. Heatsoak is also a problem with the topmount. I'm seriously considering a front mount i/c. The current power level is difficult to control with the outback's suspension, and the front wheels are already at point where they are spinning at high revs in first gear-Albeit with garbage tires on it.

Maybe it's the 5EAT. I feel like I've seen stock turbos make that kind of power on 5MT cars. Are you using a stock top-mount, or a Perrin/AVO?

Of course they aren't. I'm just saying that if an AVO380 only makes 250whp on that dyno, then a stock car had better show SIGNIFICANTLY less power than that.

I am using an Avo topmount ver.2 and a fully built IPT transmission which has been extremely impressive in all aspects. Against an 05 or so Sti with unknown upgrades, and from a roll mind you, I hung with him and lunged ahead during my upshifts. Look closely at the above torque plot for an idea of drivability.
