discojon
Ok guys, Kred is going to start working on the gauge pod for us. Plan is for their to be a 1,2,and 3 gauge version. We need a drivers side vent so he can model it. If anyone has a spare or wants to donate theirs for a bit it would be greatly appreciated!
LeGiT_Flat4
I'm still thinking about parts that could be made, but I think it would be cool if you could make a detailed scale model of a Legacy especially if it was paint-able. Something like this:
discojon
Here is the first project Kred has done. He designed this for his car and said he didn't mind sharing with the forum if the interest is there. Its a replacement for the cubby door that holds 3 52mm gauges. I'll do a test print and fitment tonight.
compsurge
A roof spoiler would take days, even weeks to print. It would be cheaper to buy one. Â Gauge pod would be a good one.

discojon
The cubby has to come apart for fitment so I'll work on that later tonight after my sons birthday party. If this one fits good it will be for sale. Rester5350
Thats awesome Discojon!!! Would be really sweet if you could angle the bevels towards the driver. How much would you want for it?
discojon
Thats awesome Discojon!!! Would be really sweet if you could angle the bevels towards the driver. How much would you want for it? Dont want to get too far ahead yet. Still needs some test fitment and I want to come up with a good way to secure it to the cubby. As for angling it, Kred can chime in but the tolerences are extremely tight to get three gauges in there. All credit to Kred for the design. We still need a drivers-side side window defrost vent for modeling for the gauge pod to go there. I'll work on fitment tonight and if all is good I'll work on a price. This thing would look like brushed aluminum if it were sprayed silver.

discojon
Did a quick test fit of the gauge pod. Just a small tweak needed and it will be ready. http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/10/03/09fdbab18714eea57e26610ee0266dbc.jpghttp://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/10/03/676cd7ace6ab2fe5b9880290621b0571.jpghttp://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/10/03/34e77a9830ec97a3451c67f6f34747d9.jpghttp://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/10/03/231145a1062500fb4e9ba48e550fc6ca.jpg
discojon
Ok, Here is my plan. I sent a few fitment notes to Kred and hopefully will see a revision sometime soon. The pictured pod will be listed for sale in the for sale section momentarily. The fitment issues are not major and could be fixed with a simple sanding of two corners. I'll get some Black Filament in on Tuesday and print a revised version.
