GT Gaze
I have a pretty bad sway in my front suspension! If I'm on the gas it's fine but when I let off I get this knock and sway it does and it's very noticeable! It also does it if i go over a bump. I can hear the knocking. I have no idea what it is. Maybe lower control arm bushings idk. But if anyone has had this problem please let me know what you did to fix it or what parts I should check and replace! apexi
I would look under the front of your car, and check to see if one or both of your sway bar end links are broken. Picture of the end links which are near your front wheels below. http://www.subaruoutback.org/forums/attachments/wheels-tires-brakes-suspension/39858d1372467458-2007-2-5-basic-front-moog-endlink-qs-endlinkreplacement006.jpg
98legwag
Also, make sure all the bolts and nuts are tight. I had a similar issue on my 98 and it turned out one bolt on an end link was lose.
AZP Installs
Also check your LCA Bushings. Very common issue which will give you that sensation you describe. -Mike Paisan http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/153798190.jpg Maintaining, Modifying and Educating TriState Enthusiasts since 2001.
