NavyMM06LGT
So after doing the turbo install I am now sitting with a cyl 1 misfire. I have replaced the plugs, changed coil pack, checked the injector o-ring, replaced the gasket at the turbo-ic flange. Still missing.... Whats up? 20lgt06
before you throw away money like all of us did trying to repair issues do a compression. i spent 200 bucks replacing parts for nothing and it turned out to be a burnt valve gl
NavyMM06LGT
That was something I was going to do. Just seems odd that it happens after the install of the parts...

NavyMM06LGT
I think it might be a van leak.... It is very hesitant.

NavyMM06LGT
Yea, misfires, really rough idle, stalls sometimes, doesn't like to start from the line or even accelerate at first....
ibr_adam09
Maybe the coil pack isn't inserted in the spark plug. Sometimes it's tricky to get those things in there.
NavyMM06LGT
I don't think thats it, since i had the misfire since the install, and didn't touch the coil packs until after when i changed plugs... and then changed that coil pack
Spec B
Swap the injector and see if the misfire code follows the injector.

mightyS
My car was doing this and it was a burnt valve. Expensive to fix.
Spec B
Good news (for him) was that it started after he installed the parts..hopefully it's a bad injector.
NavyMM06LGT
Not sure what it is, as I don't have time to figure it out yet. But pulled the codes and reading misfire on 1, 3, and 4 also have a o2 sensor code.
bmx045
is the front o2 plugged in?
NavyMM06LGT
I was thinking I might have damaged it somehow during install of up pipe as i was trying to remove it...
bmx045
if its a front o2 code and the o2 is plugged in, change it out. that will certainly fix the misfires.

Spec B
Check your vacuum lines under the TMIC...when that goes it sometimes causes misfire codes all around.
NavyMM06LGT
I will check that, just ordered a new 02 sensor
