Gmachine
Last year i stated noticing black tar like dots showing up on my paint. Thought it was bug droppings or tree sap. Weird thing was it was mostly on the top surfaces and the right side of the car that got hit the worst. Winter came and it stopped happening. This spring and summer....wholy S! Time to consult Google god and ............ Gmachine
If you leave this stuff on the paint for a few days it's a pain in the ass to remove. I have to scrape off the hardened spore with my finger nail. Then drop tar remover on the residue dot. Rub off with a cotton towel or old sock. Re wax. Use a razor blade to scrape them off the glass. http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z87/HDCHUNG2/IMG_0849.jpg

SUPERBU
I'm glad you posted this because my car has been covered in these damn dots for the past couple of weeks. I noticed it's only on the passenger side of the car which had me scratching my head. At work I park in the first spot which is next to a mulch bed and some bushes. Gmachine
This ejection process is phototropic so the peridioles are projected toward the light. http://www.ct.gov/caes/cwp/view.asp?a=2815&q=376840 The little bastards are aiming for your shiny white car. I had to find a new spot at work for the same reason.
