Beautiful very clean. May I have your red interior please :D haha.

Thanks! There's a price on everything right?

are those peanut butter guts i see?

 do explain

How do you like the swift springs? Thinking about getting some just want others opinions on them as I'm not going for the slammed look nice looking lgt BTW very clean

I love them, they're a little bouncy on the stock struts, but the ride is honestly not too different from stock. They're made for the Bilstein's though, I see you have a 2.5i, not sure how they would be on your struts.

I'll trade you my black leather interior and 200 bucks on top :) haha

Definitely going to be more than that , I just wish I could have a red folding rear seat

I also put on a subtle solutions license plate delete for the 08+ wrx. It's flat and the Legacy bumper is curved. With a little work I think I can get it to sit flush.

I would love to see a few pictures of that red interior - they are so beautiful!!!!

I'll try to snap a few in the coming weeks, but my interior is mostly stock.

If only they made the Spec B model in a wagon. Would be amazing!

Agreed!

Beautiful.

Love how those lights turned out. Planning to do the same on my car.

I'm glad I painted them, but I wish I put in HID lenses while they were open. I plan on buying another set and sending them to overland04 in the spring.

Lookin good!

Thanks!

Do you plan on selling your current set? If so, how much?

Not sure what the going rate is for headlights, but I'd probably sell them for +$40 above that due to the fact that they are already cleared, painted and don't leak. I'd also trade somebody for headlights in same or better condition.

The reason I would want a different set to repaint is for 2 reasons:

1. I'm afraid a new coat of paint wouldn't stick good to these already painted housings.

2. It seems like a waste to open an already painted set of headlights.

  • 3 weeks later...

Couple small updates:

-Replaced torn turbo inlet with another stock piece. Didn't seem necessary to upgrade to an aftermarket at this point, OEM inlets are much easier to install and have spot on fitment.

-Put on a aluminum subtle solutions license plate delete. Looks much better than holes until I get them filled.

-Got a LatheWerks Alternator cover, asked him not to powder coat it black and leave it bare aluminum. Matches the aluminum intake pipe and intercooler.

-Ordered a Anarchy Motive shift knob in robust red, hoping it will match the brick red seats well.

Next up is sway bars, probably going to go with the Cusco 23F/21R and Kartboy end links. Is it necessary to replace the rear sway brackets?

Haven't updated this in quite a while, a few new additions!

  • Installed Cusco front and rear swaybars, Kartboy end links, and AVO brackets.

  • Switched to JDM HID headlights (and yellow fogs!). Highly recommended, I already had painted and cleared headlights, but I think these look even better with the blue rings, and the cutoff is fantastic.http://i.imgur.com/p2NfQ5L.jpg
  • Replaced Perrin TMIC with the Grimmspeed unit. Fits 100% better, no more needing two people to get the throttle body to line up.
  • Replaced stock 70k brakes with Centric rotors and Hawk HPS pads. Much better bite than stock, less dust, and very little squeal.
  • Put on summer wheels: SSR GT2's with Pilot Super Sports, rolled fenders, and got realigned.http://i.imgur.com/eme9CSG.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/gaQAPka.jpg

  • Replaced worn steering rack bushings with Whitelines.

I never liked the "Subaru rumble", didn't think it sounded great, and hated the highway drone even with my pretty quiet Cobb catback. Decided to install a Tomei equal length header, and put in an external wastegate while I had the uppipe out.

Sound is amazing, nothing like a honda, very Evo/small Porsche sounding. Highway drone is almost nonexistent now. Spools much quicker, and sounds like hell once the wastegate opens.

Got retuned by STi Mikey at EFI Logics, with the same 18psi it picked up 26whp/22wtq. Numbers are now 309whp/323wtq.

That is a great looking car. I bet its fun to drive too.

I've been enjoying it a lot lately, I think I've reached a nice balance between power, handling, and looks. Should be interesting to see how it does in the AutoX's later this year!

Car is looking great, man! And great numbers as well! And as 98legwag said, I'm sure that is a blast to drive on a day-to-day basis!

BTW, still completely kicking myself for not grabbing the aero guards from you. But then again, your car looks so simple and clean without them, maybe I don't love them as much as I thought
