Rester5350
After much deliberation I think I have decided on the 235/55/17 bfgs. I have run bfgs on my trucks and was very happy. These seem to get pretty good reviews on the interwebs but so does any other tire out there. I am looking for a summer with very good traction in the rain. If anyone was a reason why I shouldn't buy these I would love to hear it. If it matters I live in PA and drive an OBXT. Thanks in advance!
That Guy 2-1
They're good tires, lots of GM/Ford guys run them and have no complaints
Rester5350
I have only seen two cars running them and one is a mustang the other is a neon srt4. I asked the neon guy if he liked them and his response was" they are old and he needs new ones". He didn't have a whole lot of info.
grovlet
Nope!!! I run them on my Camaro and couldn't be happier!! I can actually use the loud pedal in the rain.... They will be awesome with AWD:jedi: Edit - and as to Dry Traction - Went from useless 1st to decent throttle before spinning, and they stick nicely in the corners.... And once they are warm:wub: Although being a "Summer" Tire they don't do well below ~60 Deg.
Rester5350
Awesome thank you! It doesn't seam like many people are running them on their subies. I will be ordering a set on Monday.
BoozeRS05
I ran them on my STi and was quite happy with them. They were a bit loud, but grippy and they look good mounted, broad shoulders. Justin case
I have them too and had them on my old probe as well. Aside from being loud i've really enjoyed them.
Claw
They're loud. Loud like running winter tires. Probably wouldn't run them again, unless they were $free or something. Have RE760s now and I'm very happy with those.
08SpecB_DE
I had them in 225/40/18 on my old car and loved them! The traction in wet/dry was excellent. They were quiet unless I was taking a sharp turn then you could hear the "sticky, gripping the road" sound.
system60
They're loud. Loud like running winter tires. x2, it was a nice/day difference when I went to Mich PSSs. I probably could have gotten another summer out of them but the noise was getting to be too much.
Rester5350
Having mud tires on my last two trucks I'm not sure if the noise would bother me much. I am really looking for wet traction.
