billvegaschris Posted November 18, 2015 Share Posted November 18, 2015 1996 Subaru 2.2 Legacy I replaced the timing belt and now it wont start I aligned the camshaft pulley to the notch at top and the crankshaft pulley with the notch aligned and then the other pulley (passanger side) has play So i put a socket on it and pulled it tight toward the door and put the belt on. I am not sure if the passanger pulley needs to be aligned top center or retarted toward the door or towards the center. Please help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
