T_Altland27 Posted July 2, 2014 Share Posted July 2, 2014 Looking to do a short shifter in my 09 legacy 5m/t n/a is it possible to use the kartboy bushings and all that with like an eBay type short shifter? Also I know it really firms the shifts up but do I even need the bushings at all just some small things I'm thinking about and need other opinions about this Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Max Capacity Posted July 2, 2014 Share Posted July 2, 2014 The bushings will tighten it up, the STS will shorten the throw. FWIW, you want a heavy shifter. A lightweight shifter will not help as much, you need some mass in the shifter. Buy a name brand from a good vendor on here.
