PINESMOKER Posted January 9, 2013 Share Posted January 9, 2013 Is there any reason these two transmission cannot be swapped 1994 Legacy 2.2 cable style transmission TY752VAAAA *(Donor) 1998 Legacy GT 2.5 Hydraulic transmission TY752V2DAA *(original) Look them same... Gear ratio is the same no , no , no , the 98 GT (4.11 ratio) and the legacy L (3.9 ratio) have a different final drive ratio, unless the 2.2 trans is 92 - 94. what year is the 2.2L manual trans????
