I don't think I've ever seen so many Subaru's at one time in lil ole New Ulm ever.

Spotted a few outbacks at the Brown county fairgrounds (bavarian blast) & a silver Wagon w/ Illinois plates parked outside Holiday Inn. I pulled up next to ya, but ya looked to old to be a forum user haha

Actually you would be surprised how many people on here are of an older crowed. I think I am the younger of the few being 27.

Yesterday I saw a gray spec.B on NW highway through Palatine. Gray STi rims, quad tip exhaust, Pelican Parts plate frame. I was in my company car at the time, so you wouldn't have recognized me.

Late to the party here. This was definitely me though! I work out in Rolling Meadows so I'm on Rt. 14 everyday.

Spotted a silver LGT this morning (New Berlin). Had EL headers and a loud BOV. Not sure if you're on here.

thats me. i had a feeling it was you Ive watched some of your videos, im not very active on here more so on nasioc but i come on here to read wats going on. i just moved to new berlin to my bros house, there unequal tomei. my exhaust sounds very raspy until everything warms up, and yeah my bov is loud its a go fast bits hybrid set to full atmospheric since i didnt feel like and advanced auto disnt have big enough hose to run a recirc tube after my rebuild. i actully saw another blue legacy with exhaust and wat looked like an sti badge on the trunk i tried gettin closer but traffic was shitty on 94 west. i had 18" black rotas but i bent a rim last week so im rockin the stockies. is there any meets coming up or cruises, i finnaly got my car finished after 5 months i wanna do some stuff..

Cool man. I don't see too many LGT's around the area. I know of a blue one (Drew) and Aken's and I saw a black LGT with FMIC and gold wheels today in Waukesha.

5 months? What happened to your car and whats the set up now?

I'm working on converting my car to speed density. The wiring is done. I'm just building the new table for the tune now. Finally finished the new turbo and FMIC setup about a month ago, so I haven't done any events this year yet.

I decided to blow up my motor last February since it was already on its way out compression was very low and I'd burn 2-3 quarts every 1000 miles. So I just did donuts in my works parking lot till it wouldn't do them anymore. unfortunately I broke my center diff even more than it was and cracked three pistons while doing that.

I have a cool video tho.

Tore the engine and trans out. Tore everything apart my self. I had to get the cyclinders bored .5mm over. And the heads I had refurbished. Rebuilt the bottom end with maley rods and cp 100 mm arp head studs and acl race bearings

Tranny was sorta toast it would need a new center diff and rebuilt because all the bearings were bad from debris I decided to go with the 2004 sti tranny I found on nasioc for cheap. Got an act clutch auto tranny driveshaft and r180 rear diff.

Installed a stock location ATP gtx3076r turbo, tomei headers and up pipe. Fast motorsports black fmic(which I'm kinda disappointed in but still works). Grimmspeed 3 port boost solinoid. Perrin 3inch inlet and Cobb oem size maf short ram intake.

Made 370 hp and 334 ftlbs on 18psi I maxed out my maf housing so they couldn't tune past it. I should have gone speed density or at least 3 inch maf. My maf was one thing I over looked.

I plan to go back next year and get it re tuned with a bigger maf.

Nice. quite the build there. Who tuned it and where did you dyno?

Yea it drives good. The idle drops too far down sometimes when the engine isn't warmed up and it definitely likes being driven above 3000 It stutters some times below that but I'm not sure if that's the tune or just how the car is set up with the bov setup and added turbo lag, but other than that runs perfect. I wish the sti gears were longer.1st gear is kinda useless because its so sort. I wish I would have had a bigger maf so I could have gotten more power, but I guess there always next year.

Yeah the lower 04 gears are crazy short. Your MAF scaling might be off on the low end if it stutters. Seen a lot of tuners not spend enough time dialing in the MAF across the range and getting the driveability right. What RPM do you hit peak boost at?

it seems to only stutter/hickup on the freeway when im in 6th and around 2500ish but it doesnt happen all the time. im not sure exactly when it hits full boost but im guessing around 3750-4000 depending on the load. i like the driveability of the turbo. ill have to do some data logs to see what im hitting at rpm

Haven't downloaded logs but probably closer to 4500 rpm peak boost.

I was temporarily in Germantown for training last week. :)

Who'd he buy the black one from? Don't see modded LGT's around here very much. If he's having any issues I can help with logging the car and troubleshooting. My buddy and I do our own tuning and work on our cars.

Im not sure. It was on craigslist for a while though. Modded lgt's are hard to come by for sure. I saw yours and thought how crazy it was that we just started modding ours and then yours showed up.

Ill keep that in mind for sure!

Ah, I think i caught him near "F" and Moreland a few weeks back, Black with a loud BOV a few cars behind me.

After this weekend's projects I now have a BSM with a black roof in and around Waukesha. I used to see Franz here and there but my commute is a little different these days with all that shitty construction in Waukesha.

Ahh that's you I'd see in the morning.

Yeah I've been taking a different way too.
