skatenation Posted March 7, 2013 Share Posted March 7, 2013 Having some trouble getting this last strut into place (rear left). Installed the other three with little to no problem. Im installing Bilstiens of a JDM BG wagon. Does any one have any pointer/ tricks? this is my first time doing a solo strut install. thanks guys! twisty Posted March 7, 2013 Share Posted March 7, 2013 what kind of problem are you having? getting the bolts all the way back up in there? hanging up on things below? i didnt have much trouble at all getting the rears in, just took a bit of patience and a few turns back and forth to wiggle them up. subadoo_95 Posted March 8, 2013 Share Posted March 8, 2013 i just did the rears today.took me 2hrs with rotating tires and removing inside rear seats..i suggest to loosen the bottom 2 bolts first,once that is done,loosen the top 3 bolts and than pop the 2 screw out of the strut.might have to wiggle them out.when installing u will have to place a jack under the rear rotor to slightly lift the wheel enough for the bottom bolt to line up with the lower hole of the strut Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
