BrandonVonDoom
May get flamed for this, but i'm talking to a junkyard about buying some parts for my 97 LGT. He's got a 99 LGT he's parting out, and i was wondering if the parts i need would fit from his 99. front fender, plastic liners for the front fenders, grille and ac compressor. monkeyposeur
It should all swap right over. Not 100% sure about the ac compressor but I'd bet it will be a direct fit.

mailman
Rockauto shows different part numbers for the ac compressor, but they look similar. The mounting bracket might be different, i'd get that too just in case. For example, I got a 93 power steering pump and it fit my 96 but I had to also switch to the 93 alternator bracket, the 96's would not fit with the 93 pump. kurtis9813
The ac compressor is probably is probably a different model. I know that my 95, 97, and 98 compressors are all different. They're all very similar but mount differently. You can probably use it but will either need to swap the mounting brackets or get crafty and make a way to mount it yourself. kurtis9813
The grille should fit as long as both cars have stock gt bumpers and grille. The non gt/outback 2nd gens have a shorter grille, the gt bumper has a cut in for larger grille. The fender and plastic line are the same for both cars
johnegg
www.car-part.com look for your parts there and sort by distance using your zip to see what is close. then sort by price to see what's cheap. add the shipping and see if it is a better deal. (some large parts are not worth shipping.) you never know until you look. the interchange software they use is pretty good. i have never heard of it including a year, model, or part that ''will not fit.'' i use them all the time to see what will swap. of course, there are some parts that will swap even though the software does not show it. good luck.
