crazyjay1089 Posted September 9, 2009 Share Posted September 9, 2009 So I have Hawk HPS pads and DBA slotted rotors -- there's plenty of meat left on the pads and very little wear circles on the rotors. The set up is probably about a year old , ~10k miles. The install was done by a local mechanic who has done a lot of work for me. Under braking from about half to 3/4 pressure, there's an unbearable squeal. Different wheels seem to squeal at slightly different pressures, and I get nasty looks from little children. Are these pads known for noise? Is there anything I should be looking for (improper greasing, etc.)? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
