The Strand Brewing in Torrance, CA http://www.strandbrewing.com/ . They've got a great parking set up, and the brewery manager is a Subie guy, '13 WRX with a Phatbotti E40 tune (aka half E85 tune). He says the first beer (each) is on him. See?! Free beer! Let's do this quick, and easy; I'm picking a date, and let's see how that goes: May 28th, the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Start time 3pm. End time 9pm = closing. Saturday's they are open 12-9pm. Different food trucks are scheduled, and when they post the truck for that day I'll update. They will reserve the back side parking lot just for us: (this is an old pic before they took the space over, because the rectangle space in the red box is typically empty except for a few employee cars and the food truck. ) I'll PM some of the locals I know of on the board to make sure they see this thread, and please feel free to hit up any members local-ish that you can think of. If that weekend is already booked up for too many, we can talk about 1 week before or after, in this thread. Sticking with the 28th. Jonny Walker with the dark blue bp gt wagon is heading out on duty for a the next 2-3 years and he is having a going away party. He was thinking of having something at the hoonigan facilities on June 11th which is a saturday. Then after, everyone would do a cruise to the strand brewery. There was a group of 10-12 vets meeting up there, the last time I was there. Rick is the owner, Jonas is the brewer (wrx). Both cool doods, and either can set it up.
