JimyJoeBob
I did a lot of searching but couldnt really find what i was looking for since most of the info is for the gt and i have a 2.5i. I am looking into getting new front pads for my car and was looking for some suggestions. I have read about hawk pads but was looking to see if there is any other pads worth looking at since it is only a daily driver and im looking to not spend too much money, under 100 or so for front set of pads. Any info is appreciated, I do live in Mass so they would have to perform in the winter as well
magnetic1
Hawk HPS are under $100. We also have (but not on our site yet) Akebono ProACT which would make decent streets. Those are $60 shipped. 93turbo2
+1 for bobcats from magnetic1 i am very happy with mine How well do they perform in the cold winters? Esp in the snow.
CDN 2.5i
I haven't had them through a winter yet so I can't say from personal experience, but as they are a 'street' pad I expect they will be fine. They are so much better than OE pads that even if they did lose some effectiveness for initial stop in cold, they'd still be better than the OE pad. All literature states they have "excellent cold weather performance".
