K2e2vin Posted November 14, 2012 Share Posted November 14, 2012 So I've read that the WRX wheels do not fit...but I already have them(picked them up a couple months ago with intentions of throwing snow tires on them). The current 17s on my LGT have jacked up lips so I don't want to throw new tires on that(I bought the car with those wheels so I do not have the original LGT wheels). Does anyone know if WRX wheels will work with spacers or is the radius of the brake caliper too big? Thanks! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
EJ25subie05 Posted November 14, 2012 Share Posted November 14, 2012 only one way to find out is go take one of your rims off (in the front) and mount the wrx wheel. it'll bolt up but as for clearing brakes I'm not sure. it won't take you no more then 10 min to find out. I won't have time to mess with the car until maybe Friday. I go to school and work full time(I'm only home from 3:30am-11am). K2e2vin Posted November 15, 2012 Author Share Posted November 15, 2012 Ended up taking a nap and waking up just to try it; I managed to get the wheels onto the studs but there's interference with the calipers as suspected, but not too much(offset *looks* fine).
