My 1994 Legacy GT wagon

Recommended Posts

I picked this up last year and did a semi-resto on it. It's my daily, and probably one of my favorite Subarus to date.

The GT is sort of rare. It was the only first generation Legacy in the states that got the raised/step roof. It was built in 1994 only, in dark blue or dark red only.

No sunroof, phase 1 EJ22, 4.11 5MT trans, rear discs, and cool ground effects.

The previous owner installed some cheap coilovers, which I've readjusted and I'm currently getting used to. I have a set of Prodrive GD WRX fitment springs which I may switch over.

I'm currently refurbishing a set of Prodrive P7 wheels in gold, as well as a rare OEM/JDM spoiler I found in New Zealand! Should be installed this summer.

Other mods to the car are black WRX front seats, a Cusco WRC shift knob, and an old school 1994 MOMO Corse wheel with an NRG quick release.

I don't visit forums much, but I figured I'd show this off, as it IS a Legacy GT. :)

Nice car - I still kick myself for not picking up one of these in '94. I ended up buying a deep red Alpine Sport wagon that was next to one - also a bit of a rare 1994 model. It's been a great car (rear disc brakes, skid plate, anti sway bar, heated seats and mirrors) but no fun turbo. 225k miles and still going strong!
