i use to have a SC3800 in my 98 GTP with practice i was able to do full plug job in under an hour,

Only takes me 30 minutes to do all 4 plugs on the LGT, with practice, and most importantly, knowing the right combo of u-joint and extensions.

^ i wish could put that but the price tag is still high.

the buckaru still goes strong. got the typical right front inner cv boot torn from heat.

other than that its fine there area bunch of improvements to clean things up under the hood i want to do. and cange the type of motor mount i have its a little stiff and transfers some vibration to the car when cold.

and i realy gotta do a push to install that megashift controler for the tranny.

Now that's thinking out of the boxer!

so put a good afternoons worth of work on it. plumbed the a/c system all in. but in charging it i found a leak :( but shouldnt be a problem.

i made a few brakets and cleaned up some welds on the intake piping ready for powercoating.

did a few rips with it at 15 lbs boost. pulls like hell.

well ran 13.3 @ 100 mph shift into 4th started slipping so had to let off. and a few other bucks and revlimiter hits. gotta work on the tune. and many things like the tcc never engaging are realy killing the trap speeds. a coupple more runs i'm sure i would of gotten it down to the 12's but the oil drain for the turbo came loose and started leaking oil on the downpipe, so babyed it home.

I mainly subscribed only to read through the entire thread. I'm pretty impressed with what I've seen. I'm still astounded as to how I've managed to not see this...

Definitely one of the best threads here.

Do you ever get out of the great white north and end up in the South East any?

If you ever make it to Atlanta, I would pickup the tab for dinner and some brews to hear some good war stories on this build.

I have been traveling a lot with my work untill about 8 months ago.

I have Ben to atlanta 20 times or so!

But I may take the car on a road trip down to Florida soon so I could stop in!

That's not too bad. I am working on rack mounting on mine and have some interference with my current mockup of the engine. I have worked hard to not have to move the rack but not I am faced with either dropping rack about 1.5 in or cutting and welding into the oil pan to make an indentation. I have attached a pic to show where I stand. What do you think?

^ well it sucks. and the rear sump might as well go away.

prehaps going a flat low clearence oil pan with a dry sump. with a pick up in the front and seperate one in the back.

but these beacause of issues is why i did the v6 swap. you could go to a completely different steering system. maybe just drop in a firebird / camaro 1998 year front end in.
