99legacyturbo Posted July 28, 2012 Share Posted July 28, 2012 Dear tristate area Subaru owners I've ran into some financial difficulty and need to sell my freshly built 99 legacy GT limited 30th anniversary hybrid ej22 closed deck block ej20g jdm heads swapped standalone ecu turboed. Sorry that was a confusing way to put it but I know this isn't where you sell a car but I want to know where I could post it to sell it locally and how much to post it for. It's got fresh bearings and rings and a fresh drill hone it's got the 04 Wrx turbo, 05 Wrx tranny and Drivetrain, 05 Sti powersteering pump, new timing setup, oil pump, waterpump, tstat, sti rad cap, killer bee oil pick up arp head studs, no leaks, tien coilovers, jdm projector headlights with hids, all black leather interior, boost and wideband gauges, and more Only problems are front bumper cover needs replacing (it's cracked but held together by zip ties) and reverse is starting to make some noise but with the power I really suggest going with an Sti transmission soon if you plan on beating on the car So anyone know how much I should post it for? westu37 Posted July 29, 2012 Share Posted July 29, 2012 I'm no expert, but I think $8-9k would be a fair price for this car. I remenber seeing one similar with an STI 2.5l going for about 11k in NY, but don't know if the guy sold it. If this was a wagon I'd get my buddy to buy it. Him and his wife are Subaru for life and want something like my Outback xt. Good luck, hope you don't have to sell and things turn around for you. Well since I have no egr, pcv, or cats and 3" turboback exhaust and catless uppipe I doubt it would pass a sniffer but the standalone doesn't really affect that at all if anything since It runs off my wideband it prolly helps. But if your talking like about passing Nj emissions with a standalone then yes it affects it cause inspection isn't with a sniffer after 96/97 they use obd2 witch I no longer have...however I have a way of passing it that I could explain threw pm. Ive passed other standalone cars with it threw normal DMV inspection totally legit and if I sold the car I would agree to get it freshly inspected and let you use my tool every 2 years to pass again Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Beautiful car - if I had cash and I were close I would buy it in a heartbeat.
