GNG_Kirby
Here are some pictures of the current status of pulling the engine to do the head gasket job. Got all the way to taking off the intake, and will be pulling the engine tomorrow once I get off work. http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad53/LGT_Kirby/Legacy%20GT/012.jpg http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad53/LGT_Kirby/Legacy%20GT/013.jpg http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad53/LGT_Kirby/Legacy%20GT/014.jpg http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad53/LGT_Kirby/Legacy%20GT/015.jpg http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad53/LGT_Kirby/Legacy%20GT/016.jpg http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad53/LGT_Kirby/Legacy%20GT/017.jpg http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad53/LGT_Kirby/Legacy%20GT/018.jpg http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad53/LGT_Kirby/Legacy%20GT/019.jpg http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad53/LGT_Kirby/Legacy%20GT/020.jpg http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad53/LGT_Kirby/Legacy%20GT/021.jpg
98LGTLover
This is really interesting! I'm glad you are posting pics. I'm afraid I'd ruin my car if I tried doing this!

GNG_Kirby
It's actually VERY easy to do. Just gotta take it slow and do it right the first time. Chiltons are a life saver, even for me. Lol. Saves me from having to pay somebody else to do it, who could potentially do it incorrectly as well. And yes, doing timing belt kit while I'm at it. I'll check and see if there are any metal shavings in the engine tomorrow. I hope there isn't. I don't want to crack it open..

Mine is sitting on my bench with all my tools that I'm currently using. And I was told there is a special tool to get the belts back on? It's like $150?
