crazyjay1089
Looks like my front rotors are shot and I'm looking to upgrade. I was thinking slotted rotors, stock size, so I don't need any further upgrades. So far I've seen Stoptech and DBA have slotted rotors. Any others? Anyone have experience and opinions on the parts (quality, performance)?
onesillyracer
why not stick with the stock rotors and just upgrade to pads like the hawk hps?
caramall2
Did you have stock pads? That's the first thing that needs to go. Past that, just search...there are reviews like: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57008&highlight=dba

crazyjay1089
Yep I went with Hawk HPS pads. But when putting them on I realized the rotors are going to need to go! I was thinking DBA, but I haven't really heard about many other brands...
q2slinger
I've heard racing brake are pretty good: http://www.racingbrake.com/ They've got a stock sized replacement that is 5 pounds lighter them OEM. That's prolly who I'll go with when I do mine.
2006Specb122
what do you guys think about powerstop brake rotors?
Emmo
Don't get slotted rotors. Unless you're on a race track where you might need the extra cooling, all slotted rotors will do is eat your brake pads. If brembo makes OEM replacement rotors, just get those and some new pads.
