Kevin03045
It seems the rear upper body leans way to far from one side to the other in corners & it doesn't have to be hard corners either what could this be? About a year ago I heard a metallic pop like a bolt snapping & i have had the issue since, this is how i was able to pursued the wife to allow all of the suspension mods you see below which happen to be dealer installed last month. The car feels very stable & handles the corners very well it just scares the crap out of me & I hear no noise its like i have bad springs & shocks please help i am going broke trying to find the cause:spin: Suspension Mods Dealer Installed Koni inserts Epic Springs SpecB TopHats WhiteLine Upper & Lower front control arm bushings. AZP Installs
My guess is that the rear sway may be a little disproportionate to the front one. I always strive to get matching sways front and rear. -mike http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/91072632.jpg http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/133406601.jpg AIM: AZP Installs | E-mail: paisan@azpinstalls.com | 725 Fairfield Ave | Kenilworth, NJ 07033 | 908.248.AZP1 (2971) | T-1 Certified Amsoil Dealer "Race Tested, Enthusiast Approved!" Burock
I agree with the AZP suggestion. Try moving up to a 23mm bar from Hotchkiss. Not sure if rears go any higher than 23mm. May also consider adding the rear strut tower bar as a 2nd step if the beefier rear sway doesn't do the job, but benefit/ price ratio is low with this mod. sheppo9
Set the front sway to soft and the rear sway to hard as opposed to spending (wasting?) more money.
Kevin03045
I was under the impression the Front OEM bar is supposed to be larger than the rear. I already have the front bar on soft & the rear on stiff. This only happens when taking right hand corners the left rear drops way to far, almost like the body is not connected to the subframe. The right side drops but nowhere near how far the left drops. 4 months ago i had to replace the trailing arm bushings because they were shot. Any ideas why & i don't think this has to do with a sway bar issue this is something else that wasn't there with my OEM rear & front sway bars. AZP Installs
Hmm, you need to get it up on a lift and have all the bolts checked. If 1 side is different than the other then something is up. Could be anything w/o looking or driving it, very difficult to diagnose. -mike http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/91072632.jpg http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/133406601.jpg AIM: AZP Installs | E-mail: paisan@azpinstalls.com | 725 Fairfield Ave | Kenilworth, NJ 07033 | 908.248.AZP1(2971)| T-1 Certified Amsoil Direct Dealer "Race Tested, Enthusiast Approved!"
