08LGT Posted August 21, 2009 Share Posted August 21, 2009 Hey guys, Just want to say i'm new to the site. I bought my car about a year ago and have done not to much but it looks good. I blacked out the head lights, 10k HID conversion, Rims, Tinted the tails and side markers, and de-baged it. only with that done and i still steal 2nd place subaru at most car shows lol. My future plans are to do a FMIC, turbo upgrade, JDM STI front bumper, WRX hood scoop conversion, JDM rear windshield whipper, STi windshield and trunk spoiler, and magnaflow exhaust striaght piped. http://i30.tinypic.com/25apun9.jpg more pics to come. CasopoliS Posted August 21, 2009 Share Posted August 21, 2009 If you upgrade the turbo plan to upgrade the fuel pump and injectors (and of course get a custom tune). I am pretty sure the JDM front bumper conversion = new bumper beam and new front quarter panels (since you have an 08). Its a lot of work and money, but go ahead. I would NOT do the Sti spoilers, I can't imagine that turning out good and they are pretty much pointless. To each his own, just know that you will get flammed for it . Nobody has done the rear wiper. I cannot imagine it is a simple task. There is a reason nobody has done it. Make sure to get a downpipe as well, the magnaflow is just a CBE. If the magnaflow exhaust has a resonator in it, keep it there. Its there because the car will sound like crap without it (high-pitched raspy sound). Again, this is an opinion thing but you should search around here and learn what everyone else already has. If you can explain your power goals, we can tell you what you need to get there. Good choice. We know what FMIC means ass See F-WDC Spec B's explanation. I agree. No point in upgrading the hood scoop if you are going FMIC.
