Little Trip to Liberal in Japan

Recommended Posts

I was fortunate enough to have a little time to visit "Liberal" in Kawasaki-City.

The President of the company was a really nice man and we basically talked for about 2.5 hours about cars, economy, and what not.

The staffs were super friendly and great people.

Just snatched some shots during my visit there.

Enjoy!

The wagon was definitely a sex on wheels.

Too bad that they used the Wagon for a Sendai AutoBacs Show so it was kinda dirty.

Yea, Japanese people consider that dirty so what would they think of my car here?! Filthy?

Got any cool LED stuffs from them?

Yup, I got the Reverse Lights and the Stop Lights.

It seems to be working well but it has only been a day so I can't tell :p

They even told me that the Reverse Lights are a little more Dim than the stock one but looks nicer.

Can you believe the Honesty here?!

I'm planning to get the Blinker Kits as well when I go back again in June.

The blinker Kits includes the big Block Fuse so I guess it does not flash faster?

I didn't take a look at the dimension of the fuse so did not purchase it this time around.

But it does get kinda expensive after all...

All the LED Parts are listed here

Of course its in Japanese so... gonna have to click blindfolded...

Well, I believe they have the 3rd row seat and that's probably one of the selling point of this car in Japan.

As Japanese people like the Mini-vans (Not like the States), they need a car that can carry more than 5 people.

Just like the Odyssey they have in Japan, I guess Subaru wanted to keep up with a car that can carry more people.

Me personally, if I were to chose with the new Outback that's sold in the state VS Exiga, I would probably chose Exiga.

But that's just my opinion.

I have turn signal kit and brake bulb and dome bulb from them.

Brake and dome LEDs are working just fine over one year.

Unfortunatry that blinker kit need some work to use in U.S.

Rear signals work just fine, but color would be amber. So they look little funny which blink like orangeish red.

And for front,if you install them, amber posission lump doesn't work. Because JDM headlight unit have independent posission bulb but USDM doesn't.

So you have two choices. Install this bulb and forget about posission bulb.

Or get some bulb which works posission and blink.(I went this route)

(Maybe to get JDM headlight unit is best solution?)

I love LED's quick on and off.

Thanks for your information.

I believe the rear lights would be fine since mine is the 2008+ style where the blinker light area has the clear plastic instead of the red.

But you brought up some good information for the fronts.

I never thought about the dual filament corner lights.

I'm assuming that the Japanese Market has the single filament corner lights for the blinker?

If that is true, then there is no way in the world that it would work for the USDM.

Hmm, I guess I would have to pass for this one since....as you may know, the blinker kits cost pretty penny.

Thanks for the information!

I'm too old for retor-fitting.... I need something simple and something that can be just slapped on (Call me lazy all you want...haha).

Exiga is awesome I think....for people with bigger family, definitely worth the extra seats back there.

Well, I just had one day off at work and were able to to make it out there.

I go there about 6-8 times a year so I kinda feel like it's not special anymore.

But yes, the cars out there are all nice!

I do have all non car related pictures but that will just bore you all here. :)

The exiga is sexy, even without a family, having that to haul things around would be great and the potential for power, I hope SOA will consider bringing that in, probably not for atleast another 5 years

And too old? Ill trade you my 2.5i for the spec b then
