mdzowner
Hello, i have had almost all my work done at IAG when i lived in md. now that im here in ct i need to find a shop to do some maintenance type repairs, specifically, i need to get my front axle replaced and possible wheel bearing. I dont need a tuning shop per se, but just a reputable one. thanks
Custom Trendz Inc.
Motor services inc. In Hartford. Bunch of old timers. They helped me a lot during my head gasket install. They surfaced both heads for 50 bucks. Honestly only shop I didn't walk out of after speaking to the guy at the counter. It is a small shop, only one lift. AZP Installs
In CT, EFI is good stuff. I'm not sure how far away Milford is from NNJ but we are about 30 min from the GWB. So it's worth it if you wanted to make a day of it and come pay a visit. -Mike Paisan http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/91072632.jpg http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/145749898/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/133406601.jpg http://www.whiteline.com.au/images/logos/perf1.jpg 11+ Years Maintaining, Modifying and Educating TriState Subaru Enthusiasts. GTPpilot
Mike, how long would you typically need for a timing belt / water pump change ? Evaluating my options as 105k is coming up pretty quick on my car. In CT, EFI is good stuff. I'm not sure how far away Milford is from NNJ but we are about 30 min from the GWB. Evaluating my options as 105k is coming up pretty quick on my car. We can usually do a complete Timing Belt Service (The only way to do it by the way) in about 4-5hrs barring any issues. We do have a nice waiting room with a race simulator and Wifi -Mike Paisan http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/91072632.jpg http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/145749898/original.jpg http://www.pbase.com/paisan/image/133406601.jpg http://www.whiteline.com.au/images/logos/perf1.jpg 11+ Years Maintaining, Modifying and Educating TriState Subaru Enthusiasts. jasejase
EFI Will be 45 minutes or so, from Milford. They are a great shop, and they do mechanical work in addition to tuning. I've gone there a few times for mechanical work and have never been sorry. They are well regarded around these parts! They are a bit expensive, depending on who you ask. However, AZP Is also a great shop. I have driven to New Jersey before, to have them do the majority of my build. Excellent group of guys, and fantastic workmanship.
