metsfan999
I've searched and no results were given. Anyhow, has anyone on this forum tried the Whispbar roof rack? And for the people that use it, do they sell fairings like the Yakimas and Thules? I love the look of the fairings but also love the fact that this Whispbar is practically silent on the road. metsfan999
*Bump* No one here has tried the whispbar? I dont want to spend $400+ and has received no type of feedback on this roof rack.
blaze741
i think the whispbar is meant to use without a fairing as its already practically silent on the road. =P I just purchased a Thule rack system myself, but have yet to install it. =[
jedraz
Is it the same as the Pro Rack (see bottom of page)? http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/thule-rack-help-124630p2.html?&highlight=rack
93turbo2
Is it the same as the Pro Rack (see bottom of page)? http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/thule-rack-help-124630p2.html?&highlight=rack Yes it is. Pro rack makes the whispbar, expensive for a rack, but looks good, works without a fairing, is supposedly very quiet and you'd have to import it into the states, unless there's a shop that carries it. jedraz
I had found it in the US. Rack Attack has em. http://www.rackattack.com/whispbar-bare-roof-systems.asp
blaze741
Def. a bit pricey compared to yakima and thule. And for not needing a fairing, I'd expect it to be cheaper.
Bovesnh1
I love the look of it. I pulled the trigger on the Thule Aero setup for my car. It looks pretty nice, but I ended up spending quite a bit of cake to get all the components I needed.
