ycpgirl88
Hey, what do you think of my car? The first pic is after got back half of windows tinted 15% (can't get anything on front in jersey, didnt want to risk), next pic is yellow fogs, third pic is one day I got bored with my steering wheel so i spent a LOT of time tediously painting in the SUBARU letters with touch up paint...i love the look. The next pic is a 'before' pic of my dash area trim...the next pic is of the one piece after I put it back in. What i did was spent a long time getting the trim in center to be color of car, got the exact spray paint from a company etc...so that is the first piece put back in, the next pic is finished product but taken by my cell, havent taken a new pic of it yet, looks a lot better than the finished pic shows. Then a couple pics from night.

AaronHere
strait up, thats my favorite car,,, nice color, too. mine was dark blue, 5 speed.. so easy to work on, some times i would change the spark plugs and oil early just to spend intimate time with her... wide frame rails. i didnt even have to use a jack to change the oil... speeding past cops and never getting noticed.. wood grain that i would tell people, "it's bubinga"... leg room in the back with 2 cup holders........... what a sweet car. oh yeah and you got tints! Jay Speed
Why the knob on the steering wheel ?
slimfast
they help during aggressive maneuvering, they're illegal in some states unless you're handicapped. a co-worker was telling me this, he has one in his car. he called it a suicide knob. 20LGTBH02
was it easy to get the dash trim pieces off? I have this thing with breaking plastic parts when I try to take them off :: I was planning on doing the same thing to the fake wood trim on my car. 2000_LegacyOutback
Looks good. The center dash piece in my car seems impossible to get out I've tried to get it out so many times doesn't seem to want to leave my dash
20LGTBH02
exactly! I can get the door trim pieces off easily, but I'm really scared of breaking off the center pieces. I don't wanna go looking for new ones at a junkyard (which might take months if I do find them) or buy a new one at the dealer. As a last resort I just might mask them off and paint them inside the car. hahaha
ycpgirl88
I use it because it's easier to steer. I'm not an aggressive driver though.

The place I got my windows tinted at actually took it out and put it back in for me, very nice of them. Wasn't easy for them either... that center piece is a pain! lol

ycpgirl88
i gave up on it... to much work yeah, it was a serious pain also when i put primer on it then when i used the spray paint of my car color the primer, paint and material of trim didn't go together well and it started cracking in a chemical reaction, spent hours sanding/using paint thinner to get it off. lol
