Pm me if you have any parts or need anything painted, I have 2 sets of rims that need painting so I can spray a few other things at the same time. Just let me know. I have seen first hand body work done by "professionals" that doesn't even come close to the quality of work I do!! So in that case yes I am a professional, I just don't do this as my full time job!! Rick I won't be at the shop but I will be around this weekend. Why don't you give me a call and we can set up a time to meet and discuss everything! GTStage2 Posted February 16, 2011 Author Share Posted February 16, 2011 I used black as a base and mixed in different amounts of pearls into the clear till I got a red effect at certain angles and light. GTStage2 Posted March 2, 2011 Author Share Posted March 2, 2011 I'm not the largest fan of the wheels themselves but a customer wanted me to paint these for him so this is the final result. * Note I would have preferred to paint the DSB in a dark red but once again it's the customers final say. You can see in the last 2 photos, the rims look completely black in the dark/shade but when the light hits them the shine red, pictures would have been better during the day time. My rims are just straight black, it is 805j jet black tint, 150k balancer, 175k i can't remember what 175k is! I don't buy paint I buy tints and make paint. Thanks for the compliments.
