Drive Train Squeek Detection Techniques

Recommended Posts

So I have a drive-train problem and I want to lift it a drive it off-ground to figure out what is wrong.

I know this wil F^#^)! up the car because of the numerous sensors and drive train anti-slip Subaru technology

Is there a way to make it safe to do so? Is it called a Dyno mode? I know Mercedes has this Dyno mode feat.

I know the problem exists up front. So I was thinking of disconnecting the drive-shaft and lifting up the front to place it in drive. This should help me locate the sound.

Where is that Senior Subaru advice?
