97 L with a little boost

So Far...

 

Exterior

Hatch swap for one with a wing

Roof rail clean up and paint

OB Front bumper

Scoop Hood swap

8k projector headlights

HD lips til I find a good GT bumper

Slight fender roll

WRX wheels for summer

Stock wheel painted cooper for winter(for now)

Dipped chrome trim black

Gutted grill and installed mesh. Painted black

Raceland Ultimos. Nothing special but they ride decent

Supertones in grill and sti badge

 

Interior

93 black tleg seats front and rear

Double din touch screen

Boost gauge mounted in front of custer

Black with red stitching shift boot

Everything else returned to stock from previous owner neglect

 

Engine

04 forester top mount

Custom BOV mount to clear throttle cables

93 Tleg BPV to atmosphere

Still a ej22e but headgasket went so my 22t is going in march 14th. Just rebuilding it now

VF-11 in stock location at wastgate pressure. Going to td04 once the motor swap is done

Home made intake piping

Gutted tleg down pipe

Custom single port UEL headers

Custom up pipe

2.5" Exhaust to a 4inch can

Emanage Blue sitting in garage waiting to get installed

 

I'm sure I left a few things out but that is the basic list of what I have done so far. Bought the car in May or 2013 so not terrible progress for 9 months of ownership. Here are a few pics. Some are from last summer so it looks a little different. More to come once I get my 22t in.

Got my new motor in and running. Looks much cleaner then before and runs way better then my old worn out 22e. Now on to cosmetics and tuning.

Really like your car man, I'm thinking about going this direction or manning up and doing H6 swap but the wiring there seems like a PITA. Where do people get ej22t's? I'm in the north midewst

 

Thanks! H6 would be awesome. Not many of those floating around. I'm in Colorado so 22ts are a dime a dozen around here. There are at least 4 complete cars on craigslist right now. I would just keep an eye out if you want to go that route but be prepared to pay a decent amount for them. They aren't cheap.

 

 

so what exactly do you need for the car for 5psi your running?

 

A lot a small stuff. Its not nearly as easy as I had hoped to get it running on boost. If you are really interested in trying it PM me and I can walk you through some of the details.
