jarmerson
Hello - long time no talk. I've been working on funds for mods. I came across a Legacy Wagon and I wanted some input on compatibility. 1) Is this the Brighton edition? 2) Are the wheels 15" or 16" 3) Bumpers? 4) What interior goodies to look for? http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/pts/3825858666.html Thanks! johnegg
97 subaru legacy recked - $500 (cincy area) http://images.craigslist.org/thumb/3L93F63Nf5E95Kc5Mad5od0de5916b6181d12.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/thumb/3Ic3L43H95La5I65E5d5o413f98538d811c52.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/thumb/3E63Kd3Ha5G75Kc5J8d5o978283c7b5a41216.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/thumb/3Ee3L93Id5Lc5E15J7d5o1c382bf766ad1eb8.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/3Ee3L93Id5Lc5E15J7d5o1c382bf766ad1eb8.jpg front end damage, rest of car is in good shape.engine and trans are good, interior is good, wheels good, good parts car. 513seven0four twosix 04 1/ no, it is the ''L'' at least, but it is probably the LS. the L did not come standard with a power antenna. the GT & LSi came standard with a power antenna. http://www.cars101.com/subaru_legacy_archive95_97.html when you see it in person, check the engine code on the ID plate on the driver side strut mount under the hood. EJ22 = L or LS EJ25 = GT or LSi 2/ wheels are 15", tires probably 195/75/15 tires. 3/ if it is an L it has the stock L bumper. but the front looks like the GT bumper with the fogs missing. does it have a sun roof? it could be a 97 GT with an L rear hatch. but i would assume a 97 L or LS front bumper, i don't see the cut out for the GT grille. 4/ goodies???? leather? optional adjustable driver seat = GT, maybe optional on the L or LS. with heat? GT or LS? optional variable intermittent wipers = GT heated seats = GT, LS? or Outback optional puddle lights on the front doors lighted mirrors on driver and passenger sun visors sun roof? remote entry / alarm system CD player cd changer? stereo amp? rear power outlet? i take it you are looking to buy, for parts ? regardless, all parts will bolt onto your 95 L. the ''painted door handles is ''telling'', not standard on the L, but it probably was repainted since the mirrors do not match. good luck. let us know. EDIT: LS model discontinued for the 97 model year. final answer, 97 LSi w/ ej25, auto trans, beige leather, cd changer, power antenna, 15" alloy wheels, remote entry and wood grained trim interior. steven1955
We fixed our damaged 99 OB with about that much damage. (See this post.) If you did want to fix this car instead of parting it out, and were close enough to Delaware, I have a white non scoop hood and both front fenders, also white, that came off a 97 or 98 Legacy wagon. (We found some maroon parts to replace the white parts shown in the linked post.)
jarmerson
Thanks johnegg! We're going to look at it today with cash. I want 16" but will settle for the 15" for now. I figure with the hitch receiver, roof rack, wheels and goodies it's well the worth the $200 I will end up spending! I hate that it's going to the crusher once I'm done with it... I will update if I get the car or not and list specs.
