crawlerdan Posted February 29, 2016 Share Posted February 29, 2016 bought a 2007 obxt limited in a basket case scenario. it was like someone bet this kid he couldn't get the car into a million pieces. he won anyway- we rebuilt the heads, went through the bottom end, etc got the car running and are having a few issues code 336 crankshaft position sensor, the sensor is good, new timing belt, etc. all wiring from sensor to bulkhead is fine also ideas? car has a rough idle, and hits fuel cut at times that it shouldn't. its bone stock. suggestions are welcome. thanks guys Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Max Capacity Posted March 3, 2016 Share Posted March 3, 2016 rough idle. Do you have a vacuum leak ? Have you done a boost leak test ? Plug the big hose off the air filter box with a pint size paint can, take the small off the blow off valve, give it a short blast of air from a compressor, put your thumb over the hose, listen for leaks. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs.
