Great numbers. Man why did they kill Pontiac. I was waiting for the G8 wagon then they killed Pontiac. :(

Well I just have to finish my '64 Grand Prix I have in the garage.

I am an old guy (46) I have driven a lot of cars and ridden in a lot of cars in my life. Each and every Pontiac product I have ever ridden in or driven has been a total piece of garbage.

have you driven the G8? From your comment, I'd think not. It surprised me and I almost ended up with one (if the GXP was available sooner, I would have)

+1 That's GM biggest problem now. They made a bunch of crap cars in the '80s but, they have gotten alot better and are as good as if not better then their completion.

But people hold onto the bad and overlook the good. Look at his post about pontiac G8 being crap and never drove one. I'm 37 and have a '64 Pontiac Grand prix and I love it. The engine hadn't been touched till I pulled it a few years ago. The engine was almost 40yrs old and didn't even smoke. Sorry for going of topic.

To each his own though. :)

Holden build quality is worlds better than the rest of the line. Have you ever driven a Pontiac with a Blaupunkt stereo? :)

It's not a Pontiac tho, its a Holden rebadged as a Pontiac, big difference.

Sorry but I call BS on the claim of Holden quality being better. Trust me Holden knock out some absolute crap and have also managed to loose an 8 figure sum once again this financial year. Plenty of power for straight lines but absolute rubbish for twistys. Aussie made yes, well made no.

On a side note for the wagon comments, Maximum Bob leaned towards the posisblity of a turbo 2.8l AWD Buick wagon coming soon :)

to china.

naw, I really have no idea.. but I do know that GM, like ford.. has been introducing most of their "cool" cars in markets not in the us.

for whatever reason they're convinced americans only want crappy cars.

which explains why the G8 got the axe, but the aveo is still around.
