BIG_D
I recently did a big build on my car and I am having a issue with a loud tick on start up that quickly goes away and then will come back here and there. Its a rotated turbo and intake new oil feed off front of block with the passenger side avcs line straight to the solenoid from the head. I had the old block spin a bearing and when i put in a know running block we flushed everything out. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas? Thanks in advance. spooby54
My 05 did the same thing one time. Mine was due to little or no oil in the top end due to sitting for 3 or 4 days. Not sure if your set for a few days or not when it happened.
MrTris
It's ticking because you need a new shortblock. #ynansb.

AMileHighLGT
1-check for exhaust leaks, close to the cylinder heads. 2- are you auto or mt? if auto, check to make sure all your torque converter to flex plate bolts are tight. if m/t. does the noise change when you push in/release the clutch pedal?
