whitetiger
coilovers are usually sold with all necessary parts unless specified it which case you reuse some stock hardware. any particular set you had your eye on?
Zues Marine
i'd say bc racing or raceland for a cheaper alternative
lulzcow
I was thinking raceland until I stumbled across those BC racing ones. You suppose it would be posible to keep the ride height high in winter, and run winter wheels/tires with some clearance, but then come the 3 good seasons tighten the suspension up to lower the height and have more aggressive spring rates? Otherwise I'm looking at swapping suspension to and fro whenever I change my seasonal wheels and tires
Jab83
I dont know about the BC's but I dont think you can bring the racelands up very high. Unless i'm mistaken and i probably am. LOL
lulzcow
Well maybe the racelands are worth the buy then, if they can be more multi-purposed. Plus they're less than 1/2 the price!
Jab83
No.... I dont think they can.... be raised very high...
lulzcow
Sorry I misread that. Unless otherwise noted, not the racelands. Sorry to double-post, my "smart" phone isn't very smart when it comes to editing these browser based text boxes.

WESTcoast
The racelands raised up all the way are still low, this is my friends wagon on racelands coils rears are lifted all the way up. But this is from his findings, i havent gotten a chance to play with them to make sure they are all the way up. Raceland Coilovers (lifted up all the way) vs HKS Hypermaxx Coilovers(still have room to go a up a bit and lower) http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h125/djkool707/DSC_0018.jpg

JAC Wagon
I cant raise my racelands much, but I was thinking... for winter I might either put spacers on the tophats or just swap my stock struts back on. Donno yet. haha
lulzcow
Both rides look sick! And good to know about the wheels/tires, they are identical to my summer and winter setups. May just have to follow your idea JAC, and use spacers come wintertime.
JAC Wagon
I have the racelands, and Im running 17x8 Rotas with +48 offset and 245/45 series direzzas. I rub on the fenders a bit on hard bumps and dips, once I roll my fenders and pull them a bit Ill be sitting nice. I like the ride of these and lets be honest, you cant beat the price. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d160/JeepinGoose/CanonT1i025-1.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d160/JeepinGoose/CanonT1i022.jpg
lulzcow
Yeah I saw your post first about them. Must you get the WRX tophats seperately from the coilover kit? Your ride looks awfully nice as well. One day.....lulz
JAC Wagon
No, These fit right out of the box. No modification needed at all. You can even adjust the camber on the front wheels. Im running slight negative right now. Trying to find my sweet spot.
Lookatmyrust
can you buy camber bolts for the rear for our cars? or even plates
JAC Wagon
can you buy camber bolts for the rear for our cars? or even plates Yes, in fact while installing my coilovers, my buddy and I noticed that my car came WITH two camber bolts... oddly enough they were in the front and didnt adjust the camber at all. Makes me wonder if I can take those two camber bolts and move them to the rear since I already have the ability to adjust the fronts with the coilovers. lulzcow
Nice! I'm really surprised at the comprehensiveness of that Raceland package, as well as the customer service I read about (I think by you). Especially considering the price, I'm gonna have to jump on a set before the end of the month! Thanks for your info about the set, JAC!
