Headers

Where can I buy legacy gt headers for the 2006 2.5i. I've been looking and I can only find headers for 05 and older. Are the 06 headers different?

yes they are different, single port and they exit differently to the cats than the previous Legacies. Youalso have two extra 02 sensors right were the headers meet the engine.

 

You can use the older gen headers but you'll need to mount o2 bungs on it, and reroute your cats.

I know there is a search, but I looked and I couldn't find anything that said where to buy headers for the 06. They only talked about were to buy headers for 98-05. I want just headers, and I don't want to buy a complete exhaust.

I know. I want the headers that are made for the GT.

when i was looking for mine i poked around the xcceleration site. i also belive that rallitek has something. some of the RS is comaptable with ours to my knowledge.

Then good luck then, cause you're not going to simply bolt on a turbo header onto your NA car...

 

All of those RS headers fit the older Legacies. Again, the newer 05's have different designed ports. Buy the older-style headers and have a shop modify them to fit for you.

i am sure the 06 imprezas will have the same engine, and someone needs to compe up with headers for those too.
