vascrub
Hi everyone! I was told that my front cv axels were busted on my 06 Legacy wagon. Being a girl and new to the forum, can anyone suggest good replacement cv axels? My mechanic friend suggested finding something on the aftermarket vs oem parts. My car is stg 2 with bc coilovers. Thanks for your help!
Claw
Not sure what being a girl (unless you want to be asked to post pics) or being new has to do with axles.. but have you tried the search function? Here's a couple: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/recommended-cv-axle-brandi-222776.html?t=222776&highlight=axle http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/axlesi-221313.html?t=221313&highlight=axle and Welcome! discojon
I haven't had the pleasure to attempt to rebuild / replace a cv boot on these axles yet but if it's like others I've worked on, just buy new ones. Messy, and requires special tools. Oh and since no one mentioned, feel free to post pics.

AZP Installs
EMPI is what we use. Depending how low your car is the BCs can cause the axle boots to tear as well. -mike
