Alfred_Buchi
Got a 3" cobb catback and had a pretty noticeable drop in low end responsiveness. Put the more restrictive prodrive cans on and my 1-2.5k rpm torque felt better and more responsive. Is this something a tune will help or will I always have this low end lag with a less restrictive exhaust? I'm thinking of selling the cobb mufflers but would be bummed if this would affect me negatively when I do my stage 1 tune soon once I find a cheap up-pipe. Clearly i know NOTHING about tuning. Infamous1
To extent, but that is kind of the dead zone for these cars. Timing can be bumped a bit but only to what your octane allows.
Alfred_Buchi
Stupid california 91 octane. Ok thanks that helps make it easier for me to sell these mufflers that I love so much, glad to hear it from the guy who will be doing my stg 1 in a month or two I hear of a lot of people using 3" dp and mid + Y with stock cans so it can't be that big a deal right? Infamous1
On the stock turbo, no it's not that big of a deal.
