OGHK87Jay
I believe GTSPEC is the most commonly used If I remember right its built in the same factory as tomei same design. Someone quote me if im wrong

Zac88
Thanks guys! Does anyone have any experience with Perrin or Gruppe-s? Invidia looks by the far the cheapest one.

Spec B
The Perrin ELH made the most power of all the major ELH in a comparison test over at nasioc. Can't find the link to the comparison tho. . I did some research over there before settling on the Perrin. I have the Perrin freshly wrapped, sprayed and waiting to be installed.

Spec B
Looks like the Perrin did really well (+35 whp) But I just realized these were not all ELH and did not include the GTSPEC or Tomei. But based on some other threads I read, the Perrin is a very solid performer. Below is a link with some logs. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=996366
mass-hole
Has anyone ever tried the Killer B Holy Header? or will this not fit our car. Its pricey but it at least seems like its built pretty solid.
LosAngelesLGT
I did some research over there before settling on the Perrin. I have the Perrin freshly wrapped, sprayed and waiting to be installed. Did you research the part where Perrin has a 5 year warranty, void if wrapped and GTSPEC has a 2 year warranty, wrap, race, whatever? This was a major factor for me. Looks like the Perrin did really well (+35 whp) But I just realized these were not all ELH and did not include the GTSPEC or Tomei. Tomei (GTSPEC) are major performers as well. 30+whp definately possible.

Windy Road
I'm biased towards my Tomei ELH 276hp/347tq On a DynoJet Dyno Video - Had a big lean spot as you can tell in the second pull
I Donated Too luchadorjose Posted February 10, 2012 I Donated Too Share Posted February 10, 2012 what about HKS or MadDad?
m sprank
HKS is gone from the US. Holy header is on never ending back order as KillerB has issues sourcing the 321 (at an affordable price). Perrin is WAY overpriced for what you get. GTSpec, Tomei are far superior for the money. Now if GTSpec would just make some more. They have been on back order for 4 months. I Donated Too luchadorjose Posted February 13, 2012 I Donated Too Share Posted February 13, 2012 Maybe I'm crazy, but wouldn't headers designed for the 08+ WRX/STI also fit the LGT?
LegacyDan
how would they be any better though? Tomei are the best twinscroll ELH headers available. Subaru OEM twinscroll headers are very well designed and im sure they are pretty high up there for single scroll applications too.

Gambit
Why not? I am running a kando el header off eBay and it's worked flawlessly with no cracks. Great price too. Makes lots of power too, apparently comes out from the same factory in taiwan as the very popular branded headers.
Code
ok, then you should....but, I wouldnt. why? I can get legit parts that are warrantied and supported by known vendors, enthusiasts, and built by established aftermarket companies. There are COUNTLESS threads detailing aftermarket headers. When(not if) your knockoffs crack you will be out $xxx plus a replacement set/downtime/labor(a shop or your own) Do it once. Do it right. Buy American. or put cheap knockoff shit on your ride, this big rock will keep spinning either way. guzzimutt
I put on a new Perrin ELH in November, un wrapped. The thing has outstanding build quality; really beautiful, thick walls, even bends, tight dense welds. Really a quality item. Seems a shame to have to hide it
