If you have conical seat lug nuts, you won't need the rings, just remember to tighten them evenly and gently. what he said... wobble the wheel as you tighten down the lug nuts "requiring" the rings is just a way for the vendor to not take responsibility/hassle of dealing with vibration in the wheel only reason why the stock lug nuts won't work is because they are too big to fit into the wheel's lug hole, otherwise our stock lug nuts are conical...
