I actually just found an 05 manual thats already decently modded... i might pick that up as a 2nd car to get my HP/Boost fix. n daily drive my 08 5eat LGT-L (that will be right around 300hp anyway) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

guitar72186 Posted April 12, 2012 Share Posted April 12, 2012 here is one of the main things that is going to be a problem with the swap, the stock ECU and the immobilizer. If you swap ECU's to a manual then the immobilizer wont work properly. That is a dealer only fix that can become very expensive. You could always go stand alone AEM though.
