pillboy Posted June 11, 2007 Share Posted June 11, 2007 Auto trans "shift knob" if you haven't looked at the vacation pics to see what its real name is...it appears it just unscrews from the shaft. I turned it 90 degrees counter-clockwise...it let go after some resistance...like it was "Loctited" in place...it doesn't have a jamb nut. Not feeling lucky, I turned it back clockwise...90 degrees AND another 360 degrees. So what's up with that? What is the proper way to remove AND replace the factory grip? Thanks. It is still ugly.
