PoohBearCale
So discounttiredirect. Com sold me some 225/40/18 saying they will fit on the stock rim and won't rub. Are they correct?

PoohBearCale
I have a 2.5gt 2005 I believe the stock five stars are 17's
W1CKED
I have a 2.5gt 2005 I believe the stock five stars are 17's From THIS THREAD: -GT's bolt pattern is 5x100mm, NOT 5x114.3. Only the 2005+ Impreza WRX STi is currently running 5x114.3mm. Stock GT wheel is 17"x7" +55mm (still need full verification if it's different from model years), but it's been confirmed for 05' rims on post #1522 So...what you got from DTD.com won't fit at all. bmx045
So. In short, no, they won't fit. Dumb noob. Even a google search would've answered your question.

StoplightAssassin
they'll fit right over the stock rim. can't say they'd stay on very long though
bmx045
If you leave your car on jackstands and don't drive it, they'll fit. This is what we call the Rao rule.

krzyss
Unless you have SpecB with 18x7 wheels they are wrong. Regular Legacy GT have 17x7 wheels. Krzys
