Specs:

3" core and it sits below the bumper beam. No frame or bumper beam modification needed. May have to trim your bumper skin a little. Fits on 05-09 LGTs

If any of you are interested I will set up a gb for the cx racing exhaust and fmic kits and coilovers(going to get more details on these tomorow)

The measurements are:

The intercooler overall size is 34x6.25x3, core size 26.5x6.25x3, 2.5” inlet and outlet.

And...

Regular price is 499+SH but GB price is $420 shipped. I have more photos but I will need upload them later tonight

Yes you can keep your fogs. No I dont have pics of of how much to trim off. Yes I am waiting for more pics of the core and specs of the core. Also it works with those of you that have trans coolers. So you don't have to relocate that.

Looks kind of ghetto to me.

Thats a very good question Mike. I don't even know what that means pressure drop across the core. No dyno charts. I'm getting my kit shipped soon to me but I already have my Racer X I bought from you last black friday. Which I'm gunna have you install the Racer X on mine in January. My personal cx racing kit is up for sale though for a lower price than what the gb price. If anyone is interested in the CX Racing kit PM me.

There are now a few lower cost FMIC's available. All have their flaws (like many products). But, if one at least comes with a decent core it would make it worth while.

Even the old XO2 could be slapped on a stock car and make more power.

Always looking for "budget" products that fit well and work.

I'm looking forward to some dyno results on this. I had thought about a design like this several months ago, but lacked any of the resources to do anything about it. I imagine that putting a longer, thicker core under the beam would be a way to have good flow and still keep the car's stock crash rating.

All the chatter about bumper beam and crash rating. I love it. All the beam does is connect the two crumple zones. If a beam is used to hold the core (like on a Perrin) the beam used will act the same way as the OEM beam. There are more than a few cars running FMIC's that have had front end collisions. Pix are all over the interweb. Might not be as cushy in a 5mph test, but if you actually wrecked out, results would be the same.
