angler82
I currently have a 2004 WRX sedan stage 2 with about 60k miles and am considering making the move to a turbo wagon of some sort. The short list I have so far is: 05-07 Legacy GT wagon 05-07 Outback XT 05-06 Saab 9-2X 04-07 WRX wagon I love my current car but could use the extra space for hauling camping and fishing gear. Is it crazy to sell a perfectly good car with strong reliability for something with a problematic 2.5 liter? Is is also crazy to consider the same car (in the case of the 9-2x and wrx wagon) but with a slightly bigger trunk? What do you think?
LosAngelesLGT
I think you need to do more research since the LGT was not available as a wagon in USDM as an 07. I think you need to find someone with a 9-2x or wrx wagon and trade straight up. A wrx will be much better for you since you are scared of 04-06 sti blocks. angler82
Legacy GT wagons were sold in the US in 2007, albeit a small number of them. Worried more about banjo bolts and turbos that need to be replaced.
DrD123
I don't believe the seats folded down in the 04 sedan, in which case the Impreza wagons, despite on paper only having a bit more space, can carry a lot more stuff. I'd go for an Outback XT, LGT wagon, or an 06/07 WRX wagon.
