Wow guys you need to step it up, just noticed this thread. If I can find my old slip I will post, but it was nothing to be proud of but still would make the list. In short 06 5mt, vf39 with fmic and e85 ran a 12.8 at 112 on a horribly slow track, car made 358whp. For reference the best I ran in my stock 03 z06 was 13.2 at 110.

According to some people on these forums, you can't break 1.8 unless you're mario andretti.

Who said you can't break 1.8? I have several runs in the 1.7 range. I believe 1.6 capable if I was not concerned about breaking stuff.

EDIT: NSFW cut a 1.3X once.

1.8 is merely a quick and repeatably fast goal for 60'.

Post em up!

I only ran my last build at the 1/4 on pump ~13.6 otherwise the 1/4 strip was closed and it was all 1/8mi. Best 1/8 ~8.3X @88mph IIRC

Link?

I get some rear wheel spin but the car still launches pretty well. On my first time at the track the timing system wasn't working, but on my second time out, I got these 60' times:

1.917

1.587

1.384 (I did not think that a stock-location 30R could do that)

1.738

Most importantly, nothing broke. Those launches were all done by holding around 4500 RPM (no boost), lifting the clutch abruptly, and stomping the throttle. I might have stomped too soon for the 1.38, so maybe I should try launching at a higher RPM.
