The Fozzy XTi has long been a testbed for all sorts of Moore-branded parts; we never know how certain combos are going to turn out until they go from paper to the dyno...but it's fun finding out! The goal this round was a mix of both low-end response and top-end power...all while funneling it through a Subaru 5 speed trans and a non-sleeved block. We're very happy with the results of the BlastPlates for the transmission that we've been offering for awhile now, not to mention the prototype of our new girdle/windage brace! We're also closer to a production-style intake manifold with this round of testing. Furthermore, we have some new tweaks to try out for our twin-scroll specific camshaft and CNC porting programs. All-in-all this is a solid-performing setup that, with a few modifications, has the potential for faster spool...even through there's still headroom in both compressor and turbine flow; I guess we'll see what happens next round. But until then, a big thanks to Mike @ Innovative Tuning for the stellar calibrations, Mike Vindler for his CAD/Forester-specific prowess and Jason Economu at Carbotron for the late night whiteboard sessions.
